Would you like to network with over 135,000 professionals?

July 21, 2011

BNI Connect has rolled out across the globe & with over 135,000 genuine real current members it’s the place to be for serious BNI networking.

Here’s a great video explaining how easy it is to set up your profile:

BNI Connect is only available to current BNI members – it’s an extra benefit in addition to the face to face meetings, so perhaps you might want to visit a group to see what it’s like?

Spitfire is taking off

July 16, 2011

We have some great news from BNI Director Roger Howes about his new group in Thanet, BNI Spitfire.

They signed their 20th member last week , Adam Newton who is a bricklayer.

It was a lively meeting – they also passed 38 referrals and had a returning visitor who is coming back next week with an application form, which will take them to 21 members.

In addition the Thank you for the business cards already total £65,000 in 5 months, and this is for a new group that only launched this year.

The best door prize in the world?

July 16, 2011

Dayrl Carter has just come back from an amazing all expenses paid trip to Buccament Bay in St Vincent courtesy of Clare Cooper of Crystal Sands

… given away as her door prize!!

The holiday itself would be valued at well over £5000 and Daryl says that it was simply amazing:

Clare Cooper has sold over 12 million pounds worth of property, through meeting the right people at BNI Ashford Eureka, so wanted someone else to experience what great resorts and investments they are selling.

Following from our previous blog about the £400,000 referral, this shows the power of BNI and what is possible through being a member.

A £400,000 thank you passed in Kent today

July 7, 2011

As part of the normal BNI meeting agenda, the contribution round is where people tell the group what they have done for their fellow members in the past week – usually by passing a referral, a testimonial or a thank you.

Today at the Gravesend chapter there was a thank you passed for £400,000:

Gary Lee of Madison Developments has secured the refurbishment and extension work on a grade II listed barn. The owner of the barn works with one of their current members, and at present the job is valued at £400k but is projected to exceed that total.

There are several other members involved, all part of the Trades Power team at Gravesend – proving the value of Power Teams

In addition to that, other thank you’s passed totalled £38,000 – giving a grand total for thank you for the business of £438,000 this morning.
